I have been working with ASP.NET for a few months now. In the beginning, I try to find a book with some real juice on the topic. But I found most of them are very similar to the QuickStart examples that provided with the platform. So, I dig my head into the free example and the beta quality documentation instead.

Then, I came across this book last week. After I flip through a few chapters in the bookstore, I decide too have this book in my programming collection. Although I already have a few months of experience on the platform, I am excited to learn that this book still able to offer me some new information and it help to clear up some other topics for me as well. Such as security, state and cache management etc. At the end of the book, Scott put together a massive example project (compare to others books) that recap all the topics and show how they work together. You can't find this in most of the books.
